Program Description

The three semester, (optional fourth) Professional Aviation Program is designed to prepare the student for entry-level positions in both the Canadian and International aviation industries.

The Professional Aviation Program will provide the successful candidate with the aeronautical knowledge associated with flight in advanced commercial aircraft. Flying instruction will take place at Huron Flight Centre at the Sarnia Chris Hadfield International Airport.

Upon successful completion of the Professional Aviation Program, candidates will have completed training for a Private Pilot's License, Commercial Pilot's License, and Flight Dispatcher's License. Within the second semester, the student will select between the available options of: a Group 3 Instrument Rating, Float Endorsement, or Instructor Rating. As an option, a fourth semester will provide interested candidates with a Multi-Engine Rating, with a Group 1 Instrument Rating.

Career Opportunities

Graduates are qualified Commercial Pilots, and depending on the ratings attained through the program can expect employment in float operations, aerial advertising, charter, dispatch, and instructor positions.
